Privacy policy

Only what we need to sell you something and get it to your door:

• Order details — your name, email, phone number, delivery and billing address, and what you bought.
• Payment details — handled by our payment provider at checkout. We never see or store your full card number.
• Messages — anything you send us by email.
• Site usage — basic technical information such as your browser, device and pages visited, collected through cookies (see below).

• To process, ship and track your order, and to send order and delivery emails.
• To answer your questions and handle faulty-item claims.
• To keep the store secure and working properly.
• To send you marketing emails — only if you’ve opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time from the link in any email.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we never will.

We share the minimum needed with the services that run the store for us:

• Wix, which hosts our store, checkout and customer records.
• Our payment provider, which processes your payment securely.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram), through the Meta Pixel on our site. It tells Meta which pages you view and when you add to cart or start checkout, so we can measure our ads and show them to people likely to be interested. Meta may link this to your Facebook or Instagram account under its own privacy policy.
• Our suppliers and couriers, who receive your name, delivery address and phone number so they can pack and deliver your order. Some of our suppliers are located overseas (including in China), so your delivery details may be sent outside Australia for that purpose.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Our site uses cookies to keep your cart working between pages, to remember your session at checkout, and to understand in general terms how people use the site.

We also use the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies so Meta can measure and target our Facebook and Instagram ads. You can control how Meta uses this information for ads in your Meta ad preferences, or block it with your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, but your cart and checkout may not work without them.

Your information is stored with our providers on secure, encrypted systems, and only the two of us can access our store dashboard. We keep order records for as long as we need them for tax, warranty and legal reasons, then delete them.

You can ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it where we’re not required to keep it. Email sales@tailscape.com.au and we’ll respond within 30 days.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, tell us first and we’ll try to fix it. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
